Using Remote 7 and adding midi thru box - pepijnkok - 02-04-2022
Hi guys,
Just received my remote 7 and looking to start rewriting part of my studio.
I was wondering whether using a midi thru box on the remote ports would add issues or whether it should be fine (can the remote power a thru box through 5 pin midi or would they need separate power is a sub question to this).

I use the Erica synths thru on the 7, got it’s own adapter, works perfect.

Great to hear that. So you power it separately? I have a few thru boxes that are being powered over 5 pin midi by the MRCC. Well, I’ll just try it and I will know
