Midi control channel not persistent. - Stratblue - 10-07-2024

Hi.

On settings page 1 I set the mrcc midi control channel to p11 but when I turn the MRCC back on next day it has reverted to the dash symbol, it's a long way to keep scrolling every day...

Any ideas?

Thanks.

OS=1.1.075

Try to save the preset once you have the settings the way you want them. It will load the last saved or loaded preset on subsequent boots, so it should load the correct Control Channel. If that doesn't work let me know and I'll do some more digging.

Hey there.

No luck with that, saved on User 1 with the control port set to p12 and then power cycled it and it reverted to the '-' symbol.

I'm unable to recreate this issue. The first thing that comes to mind is that it is somewhat unituitive that you have to press the black middle button between the two white up down selectors when saving to a preset, it won't work to press the encoder button (although this may be more intuitive). Saving should cause a green notification to pop up at the bottom saying something like "User1 saved" for a couple of seconds, are you seeing this/following this procedure in the same manner? Also when you power cycle the splash screen will say what preset is being loaded. Is it saying "User 1" on reboot?

I see 'User 1 saved' on the screen after saving and when I power cycle it says user 1 is being loaded. Is the MIDI control channel saved with the preset? Or is it global?

Thanks.

It seems that P07 and beyond will not be stored, the few ports that I tried below that value were persistent without the save operation.

OK, success. I was able to reproduce that. I will add a bug sighting and see if I can schedule some time with Steve to take a look at it.
