Routing removal & transport stopping - RadekPilich - 03-10-2025

I get the idea of sending all notes off message when removing routing. However it seems that transport stop message is also send, or that some gear (Digitakt in my case) responds to whatever MRCC sends during routing removal by stopping transport. I believe you can see how this is not desirable. Especially for grooveboxes, that are often used with MIDI channel per track, so I will be re-routing those ad-hoc to use with some external sequencers frequently and I don't want any transport to stop as a result changing routings.

Is this via USB or DIN midi? I know that the Elekron DIGI boxes have had some unusual minor incompatibilities with USB since day 1. They fixed something a while back because they seem to work a lot better than they did originally, but this may be something related to incompatibility rather than something we're sending, unless we're discussing DIN...

Alright, I have disabled "If X Port Panic" which solves the Digitakt issue.

What's the message that MRCC sends when X Port Panic is on?

I've found out it's pretty varied when it comes to results.

I have "All sounds off" (CC 120) and "All notes off" (CC 123) message mapped on a controller. Some synths respond to both, some don't respond to either. Those don't respond X Port Panic either.

Digitakt keeps the transport running with All notes off but stops the transport with All sounds off.
