Thread: Bug: MRCC stops creating new routes
Post: RE: Bug: MRCC stops creating new routes

As I mentioned above, there is currently a limit of (I believe it's) 48 routings per patch. We ran into some unknown instability when this number is increased, and we are looking into figuring that ou...

Post: RE: MRCC Midi out D light blinks next to USB port

That orange led is the serial monitor of the processor. It's a real pain because it can be pretty confusing seeing it, and I get a lot of inquiries like this one, but this isn't anything wrong. It's j...

Post: RE: difference between P-chain on Pad

I believe the expected result is just a round robin selection of each note sent, with each consecutive note going to a different output. I don't know if they're treated as monophonic or not, but if th...

Post: RE: Port Monitoring (lightshow) on Input Ports

I don't know why that is, but it's definitely not a hardware limitation. I think the idea was just to be able to see where MIDI data was going, but I see why it might be helpful to have the the input ...

There currently isn't a bit left to select whether that option would be on or off. Since the MIDI through only goes to one of the outputs for each input you can usually send the output to the MIDI por...

I can't recommend it as it's pretty invasive, but I can tell you how I would do it if it was me doing the project. I can supply the part number for the encoders, (or if you would prefer I think Darryl...

Dark waves is correct. I just wrote out an explanation for this in another thread I will link below, but the jist of it is that the USB PC ports are all independent of the front panel connections, you...

Post: RE: MRCC Freezes when KS37 is connected via USB

Hey Dennis, sorry for the delay. We were able to recreate the issue consistently when providing external clock to the KB37, but from looking around on the internet it seems like the KS37 tends to lock...

@Donic Yes, this is the "one big thing" that is hard to wrap your head around with the MRCC as you get to using it. The PC device ports are completely independent of the inputs and outputs on the pane...

Post: RE: MRCC Freezes when KS37 is connected via USB

We're still doing some tests, but would like to find out how is clock being provided in this setup? Is it coming from the KS or through the MRCC? What is the source? [hr] We have been able to reproduc...

Post: RE: MRCC Freezes when KS37 is connected via USB

I just confirmed that we use the KS37 as our "daily driver" in the lab and have had one hooked up to the USB on the MRCC for more than a year straight. Darryl is testing the use case you described now...

The USB host ports are only visible to the MRCC as USB, so the only connections to the Computer from those ports is MIDI signal. If you need to use USB connection to communicate with an editor or some...

How would this need to work in order to be useful? I'm seeing two ways that it be done: 1. you could pass ch13-16 to remote ports 1-4, offering ~some~ individual port routings but not for all potenti...

I don't think I've seen anyone do this yet, but there are M5 sockets for mounting side panels, so it would seem to be a pretty straight forward project to DIY. At least a possibility.
