Modifier: Channel Spreader

This is one of the planned additions to the firmware, but I don't know when to expect it to be implemented. It's a matter of what Steve is interested in doing, and it's not always easy to get him to do something when he want's to be working on something else. I would file this as a "remain hopeful but look elsewhere in the meantime" sort of thing. Lizards suggestion of Polychain DIY seems like an optimal place to start.
