KB trans issue

This behavior sounds very much like the Interval Mode is turned on. To check if this is the case:

1) Press Shift + Menu + Encoder 3 (Pos/Notes/Trigger).
2) To toggle the Interval function, press Shift + Encoder 3. On the screen (2nd line of text) the yellow “OFF” will turn to a green “ON”.

Set it to OFF to make it operate as you'd expect. If it was never ON, then I have no clue, but others may help.

but interval was off and was never on, and I don't think that that would explain  for the miss matched note on/off numbers.
