Yamaha Motif XF with MRCC

Has anyone had any success using Motif XF USB MIDI with MRCC?

It looks like the Yamaha Motif series is confirmed as not working with USB MIDI. From the MRCC compatibility tracker:
Yamaha Motif X8 Synth No
Yamaha Reface DX Synth Yes
Yamaha MODX 6 Synth No
Yamaha MotifRack -ES Synth No

Right, these keyboards are not USB MIDI class compliant. The manual for the Motif says you must install a Yamaha driver, in addition to enabling MIDI on its USB port.
