TLDR, any persisting issues with v1?

Hi everyone 
On paper a little looks great so I am definitely going to try it out. Would prefer the price of v1 but just want to check if there are any persisting issues. I assume that you are not going to be (m)any further updates, so it would be good to know up front especially of showstoppers.

As far as I can remember, the two units code base is basically the same, we are using different hardware pins for things on the processor, but essentially the two share functionality. Any functions available on the new units is available on the old one as well, minus the power button. Any issues reported on V1 are also on V2 consequently.
